Notes of Note: Welcome to The-Guitar.com

Welcome to this page, which I’m viewing as a moveable feast as I work on my next book, a historical novel, which does include a harrowing ship journey by sea undertaken by a humble but gutsy instrument maker, none of whose work survives into the current day, unfortunately.  He did leave behind some densely scribbled pages describing, with great wonder, his first sighting of a giraffe, grapes grown in December and a clever rig used by Algerians for incubating poultry.  There is far more to that particular story, revealing the strange paradox of how music itself can mark a brief moment in time, with sound that suspends and then fades.  Yet it endures forever. This page follows after my ongoing adventure that is the guitar and those met along the way, to be filled with stories about artists whose love for music shines.
